Please call after 2.30pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if you are advised to do so.
Medical examinations for particular purposes such as HGV, Taxi Licence, Insurance etc can be arranged by appointment.
These examinations are usually chargeable and our fee is usually that which is recommended by the BMA. Please ask our reception staff if you are unsure whether the service you wand incurs a fee or not. We will always tell you how much the fee is before you receive the treatment.
Some non-NHS services involve the purchase of expensive drugs or medicines which we would have to order in on an individual patient basis. In these circumstances you may be asked to pay for your treatment in advance.
We also offer a travel vaccination service. Some of the vaccines required for travel abroad may not be part of NHS services and as such will be chargeable. The cost may vary depending upon the type of vaccination required. Please speak to the Nurse if you wish to discuss your travel vaccine needs.
Please allow enough time for the vaccine to work before you travel abroad. If you are unsure how long you will need please ask the Nurse. If you do not give us enough notice we may not be able to administer the vaccine in time.
